Good evening John, How are you? I returned from my trip to BB's on Monday and as promised by me to you, I am letting you know my trip experience. Everything was fantastic as usual from the service staff. Bartenders, wait staff, maids and all else. I had no issues whatsoever with shipmates. Definitely my best vacation in my last 5 trips here. I even let Crystal and Rosa know that I was completely satisfied with whomever I brought back to my room. I hope all is well with you and I will be definitely be around in 2019.

It is your ole (well, actually older now) Pirate Dr.(insert anonymous name here). I am so very happy that your surgery has been a success, although it sounds like the process was more difficult for everyone (especially you) than had been expected. I continue to think of you and to hope and pray for the very best outcome for you, John. You have been through a lot over these past several years. But your loyal staff, and your many Pirate friends, have always wished for the very, very best for you, John.
I will be making another (short) journey to Blackbeards in November. I wish that I could go more often, and maybe one of these days when I finally "hang up my stethoscope" I will voyage to ye old pirate ship much more often, and longer. John, I think that it must be close to 10 years now that I have been going. But I simply cannot recall a time where I had less than a delightful experience. You built a successful business that brought a lot of enjoyment and relaxation to many people.
Best to you, Sir. Get strong, get well, and get back to the Ship. I know that your Crew misses you, and so do us Old Pirates.

John I was a guest down at your resort and met up with your friend Ted G. It was my first time there and my experience was absolutely fantastic. Ted and I flew in together and spent the better part of the week together. The room was good, the food was good, the staff was helpful and gracious, and the entertainment was always respectful and professional. You run a great operation and I can't wait to tell my Boston Boys all about this hidden treasure. I will be back again soon.

I am not sure if you will remember me, but I have been to Black Beards several times, all of which were very good times. Not to the reason I am writing you, I am not complaining but recalling one particular time. After reading about the hall of shame I regret not having my picture there. While I was there I always had several of the ladies around and with me. One afternoon we were sitting on the patio, There must have been me and 10 to 12 of the girls, You walked by stopped and said to me and the girls, "The King and His Court", and said I should get a picture of this; it would have been a great picture and show the friendliness of the chicas , Plus a great laid back atmosphere and complete satisfaction for at least one of your pirates, Thank you for your time and i wish you a quick return back to Black Beards.

Had my first stay with you over the St Paddies day weekend. I’ve been to a few places over the years and want to congratulate you on running one of the best places like this I have ever enjoyed. Clean, fantastic, food, drink, staff & service. The shipmates are all awesome.
I was also honored to be a bikini contest judge, unbelievable fun! Just an amazing experience. Hope to repeat again soon, would be very soon if flight costs from Europe were cheaper!

I just wanted to let you know that my experience, and my friends at Blackbeard's on February 3, 2018 was so very pleasant. What a difference to both the inside and outside of the property. The place was very clean!!! So was the room that I stayed in. What's is even more remarkable was the staff! During experience the whole staff made you feel very welcomed, and there was not a moment that went by that I had an empty drink in my hand. Also, which to my surprise the food was outstanding, and every order came out quick and hot. I hope that your office continues to listen to their customers and can make this destination a calm relaxing place to visit. As you know Nicko I am a very straight shooter and if something is wrong as a guest I will stand up for myself. That being said.... Great Job and I look forward to a longer stay next time.

Awesome is the word describing my time at Barba Negra! Your resort is welcoming, relaxing and unpretentious.The rooms are comfortable and immaculately clean, as are the general areas. Kudos to the housekeeping and maintenance staff. The crew really make you feel at home, like family. Among the best was Monica and Ruth, I miss their smiles. They provide just the right amount of service while allowing you to relax and enjoy the time. I loved being able to pour my own cup of coffee or ask for one to be served with a meal. Speaking of being served, the food was fantastic. I did not have one meal that was anything but scrumptious, chef and kitchen staff get a huge pat on the back. I would eat at your restaurant even without the other amenities. Of which, my daily massage with Maide was amazing and beneficial, miss her too. The events were most memorable, recognition to all involved for creating and running those. I do dream about a barside seat, a cold Presidente and some pool time with a shipmate. Oh, the shipmates, well what can you say. They are fun, warm, kind and lovely. All the time spent with them was breathtaking, a fantasy come true. You have created an outstanding operation and I am honored to be among your welcomed guests. To paraphrase others, I may go home but I have yet to truly leave.

I have stayed in many hotels but yours is very special and a rare gem with a personal touch, your staff, food and ambiance is a civilized place to party with some sensible boundaries that's outstanding.
I would say most men in the world need a place like yours to work though their issues about their fantasies; your place has helped me in so many ways. I have always said I would never join a club that would have me as a member. Your club is an exception for me. Also I say to the people who leave, let the rejects go to the low class place you may rid yourself of them and gain a whole new clientele and keep your loyal guests who get and deserve what you do.

She wasn't sure what to expect when we first got there and by the end we were discussing when we might return. BLACKBEARDS, BLACKBEARDS, BLACKBEARDS..............If you are wondering where you should go for an outrageous vacation...once again BLACKBEARDS!!!!!
We showed up to BlackBeards in the early afternoon about 2:30pm, checked in our bags and were handed two Presidentes. The hotel itself is like a small getaway. You really don’t have to leave the hotel for any reason. The hotel and the rooms are very clean and well maintained, the restaurant is nice and the food is really good (better than most on the streets), there is an excellent pool and Jacuzzi.
Every person that works at BlackBeards has something special about them from the bar staff to the cleaning lady's. The management did almost anything we wanted for us to have the time of our lives.

Just wanted to say thanks for the fabulous time my buddy and I had at the resort. This was our first trip there but now it is one of places we have to go at least once a year. Everybody treated us as if we lived in the place for years. The management staff was very professional but also very friendly. The serving staff were a hoot.They even gave me a nickname----"El Diablo". By the way, tell Monica that "Chicky" is coming back to marry her.LOL Finally, the chicas made a guy like me feel on top of the world.
This was supposed to have been an exploratory trip but it turned out to be one of the best vacations of my life. Anybody reading this testimonial would be foolish not to check out "Barba Negra". Thanks again for everything!

Quick note to let you know that I had a great, if too brief, stay with the BlackBeard familia last week. BlackBeards was just what I needed! I was looking for a no pressure short vacation with beach, pool, jacuzzi, friendly people, good food and pretty ladies. Boy, did I hit the jackpot!
I was made to feel welcome by absolutely everyone, and everyone on the staff form the cleaning ladies to the wait staff. The chicas were so wonderful, charming, cheerful. I met some great guests too and everyone had a blast. I had my quiet time with a great book and plenty of options to have a memorable stay as well. Please let everyone at BlackBeards know how much they are appreciated! The only downer was that I had to leave. Am already planning my return visit and will definitely stay longer.

After reading quite a bit about others experiences at Barba Negra I was curious to experience your retreat for myself. The result was most enjoyable. The grounds are beautiful, the food most satisfactory, the women delightful and the service was very friendly. I witnessed a strong effort to fine tune the gem you have created. I sense a future masterpiece and am already planning my return. I understand the difficulty of managing two cultures meeting and I must say you do a fine job of creating a relaxed and titilating atmosphere at the same time.

To the chicas, thanks for such a wonderful experience, oh my God. Fellows leave your softer side at home, cause you will fall in love. My first time, but absolutely not my last. Men, if you've never experienced this type of atmosphere or never visited this type of destination, make sure this is the first one you attend.
This isn't my first day at school, but it was my first trip to Blackbeards. I have previously attended another school, but it looks as if I will be transferring, possibly in about one month.

Having been to Blackbeard's one time, there is no way that I could wait till the end of April to return, so I will be back there in early March and again (provisionally) in early April. The quotation from the Eagles song, which I appended, about how you can check out, but never leave is so true. My interpretation is that you can leave physically, but mentally the place will never leave you, which is a pretty good definition of addiction.
Cancel your trip before it is too late, otherwise you too may become addicted.

The food was awesome and the accommodations impeccable and the eye candy superb, I could not imagine a better holiday even if I could of wished one. The only down side is that I am sitting here depressed being here (home -8C and snow) knowing what's going on there. Needless to say I will be making a return trip as soon as my job will permit (end of July beginning of August) Once again thanks for a memorable experience in what I am sure is going to be my favorite getaway destination.

I have to thank you for a wonderful time at your resort. I was in Puerto Plata for a week and decided to stop by with my wife for a little fun and met one of your girls. She fulfilled our wildest fantasies and we left there totally satisfied. She was great and very cool about the situation. She showed my wife such a great time. It was my wife’s first time with a woman and she totally enjoyed it.
The atmosphere of the resort was cool and very pleasant. Next time I am in Puerto Plata I will most definitely stop by again. We are a fun loving couple from NYC and have a very active lifestyle and love to live life and have fun. Thank you for a great time.

I just returned last night from a 7-night stay at Blackbeard's in Costambar: It was the best trip of my life (and I have travelled around the world pretty extensively, including 5 trips to DR).
It would take me several pages to describe my adventures in this paradise but, to be extremely brief, the pool is great, the Jacuzzi/waterfall is big enough for about 20 people (and squeaky-clean), the beach is breathtaking and often deserted, the selection of beautiful, friendly chicas is incredible. The food (especially breakfast) is excellent, the service is unsurpassed (I was made to feel like I was staying with dear old friends), and my room and mini-bar was kept spotless and stocked for me (no mean feat...considering the craziness that went on there!).The whole experience was a bit more laid back than the hustle and bustle of the Sosua scene, which, of course, is easily accessible if one so desires.
You can choose from a wide variety of delectable chicas 'on-site'. I was astonished to find, after a solid week of non-stop partying in deluxe accommodations, that the bill for my entire stay was actually less than my plane fare!
Even though the website is a completely accurate description of the place/accommodations/service, etc., it still fell short of describing the incredible 'blast' to be had there: I've already booked my next stay, and I'm now lamentably back in the 'real world', counting down the days until my return to paradise...

It has been years since I have taken a real vacation my associates insisted on me taking some real time off. Boy! Am I glad I did! I was skeptical about the single vacation experience but I was made to feel right at home. The staff was extremely friendly and the ladies were out of this world, beautiful and thoughtful. I showed my pictures to my colleagues and they all want to come, but I didn't want to share my find.
"That would be selfish and what kind of person would I be if I withheld such a find?" You can expect to be seeing more Boston visitors. Keep up the good work!

Bill and myself had a great time, met some interesting friends and international sophisticated companions, of which we are much grateful and will long remember. We especially enjoyed the personal touch that you extended and the fairness in prices, assistance, travel desires, and comforts. Your staff had us relaxed, a drink in hand, and created an easy relaxed environment with some of the most beautiful and graceful girls that one could only imagine. Having been all around the world, I've never experienced something like Blackbeards. It was truely a dream come true, a fresh breath of air, and something I really needed. Everything from A-Z was perfect. Right off the bat, Cliff and the rest of the staff were awesome, bartenders were great, girls were amazing, and everything about your business was perfectly ran.
I still can't believe how great it was there. Everything was fairly priced, I felt at home at all times, and everyone treated me great. The jacuzzi was awesome; the club upstairs was so fun; the restaurant and food were great; the bar and bartenders were great, and they had a great sense of humor to keep us entertained; the pool and activities are nuts; the staff were kind and friendly at all times; the massage parlor and laundry service were great; the beach next door was cool; and, above all, the girls there at Blackbeards were AMAZING. I can't wait to come back again as soon as I can, hopefully in the next 5 or 6 months.
