AT THE RESORT
We offer a variety of activities here at the resort. Each and every day and every night, there is always something happening at Blackbeards.

• Jacuzzi – a private hide away to relax, soak your troubles away and enjoy a cold beverage.
• Pool – our large tropical lagoon style pool is a great place to cool down or join in a game of volleyball. Guys in the deep end, girls in the shallow end.
• Drunken Parrot Bar and Restaurant – drink, eat, dance, shoot the breeze with your friends or watch a game on the TV. Our Dominican Roast coffee is hot and always free and our beer is always ice cold.

• Bamboo Bar & Playground – Blackbeard's version of the “Outback” offers beach volleyball, lawn sports, private sunbathing and nightly drink specials.
• Crows Nest Bar – Or “Bar Arriba” as we say here. Our upstairs bar is party central for dancing, disco, big screen sporting events and more.
• Billiards – Rack em' up and break em'! Our band new pool table is always busy and always free.
• Massage, Manicure, Pedicure – Spoil yourself a little. Our on site Masseuse will be glad to help you get those travel kinks out.
• Bikini Contests - Be sure to see the beauties poolside twice every month.

ORGANIZED TOURS
During your visit, you should get out and experience one or more of our fun and exciting tours. All tours include everything and you book them here at our hotel office.

• Catamaran Sailing and Snorkeling Excursion – Climb aboard a 75 foot sailboat and spend the entire day cruising the coast, snorkeling and swimming. Open bar on the boat and a great beach party lunch is included. www.catamarandomrep.com

• Jeep Safari – If you want to experience a great Dominican Adventure this one is for you! Monster Trucks take you into the country for hiking, climbing, swimming, lunch and much more.
• Dune Buggies and Funny Bikes – Motor through the country on your choice of a dune buggy or ATV. Both suitable for 2 people. You will get muddy and wet, but we will hose you down when you get back.
• Ocean World Adventure Park – A local water park featuring dolphin, sea lion, and tiger shows. General admission includes all shows and a buffet lunch. www.oceanworld.net

DIS-ORGANIZED TOURS
Hook up with a couple guests or bring a companion along for a taxi ride. You decide where and when – we make the call. One fare is good for up to four passengers. No haggling…..no questions.

• Teleferico/Cable Car – Take a trip to the top of Mt. Isabella. The view is stunning and there are botanical gardens, Indian caves, restaurants and souvenir shops.
• Sosua – A popular destination for our guests to spend a day or evening. Numerous restaurants, bars, gift shops and a great beach with water activities.
• Cabarete – The wind surfing capitol of the Caribbean. Plenty of beach, sun and fun for a day trip.
• Puerto Plata – Take a trip to town and check out the shops, tour Ft. San Felipe, the amber museum or stroll the malecon and Mercado Nuevo for shopping.
• Playa Grande/Rio San Juan – Golf, boat cruise, surfing and much more. This all day trip offers a wide variety of great activities.

OTHER STUFF

• Golf – A Trent Jones course is just down the road. They rent clubs so don't worry about dragging yours along. www.playadoradagolf.com
• Tennis – Professional clay court right here in the neighborhood, within walking distance.
• Beach – 3 minute walk from our front door. Bars, restaurants, swimming and volleyball. The place to be on a hot afternoon.
• Casinos – Jac Tar at Playa Dorada and Ocean World's Casino are a short drive. Both feature the usual casino games and Texas Hold em' tables.
• Weight Gym – Basic but effective. A full range of free weight equipment, within walking distance.

As you can see, there is something for everyone…
